picture unperfect
Being what others want is a very tough task. Always doing
like others and letting them take you for granted is very easy. You just need
to always understand the feelings and situations of the others and be there for
them at every moment. But does doing all this really matter? Is it worth it?
Sometimes maybe it is, but generally such people just don’t value you. They are
there with you just for their own personal reasons and after a certain time you
actually lose value in their life. Because for them you are just their when
they don’t have anyone. You compromise, you adjust, you let things go but at
the end you just lose. You can never win such people because they want you till
you agree to their terms and once you don’t, sorry but you are non existing.
I sometimes really don’t get that why do people run for them
who just don’t give them a damn. They will always try to win their hearts and
just forget about the one being with you so selflessly. You take full right on
other but you don’t give that much right. The presence of that person is
nothing but a showpiece kept in the corner wrapped in layers of dust. Why don’t
they see that below these layers of dust is a thin lining of emotions which are
fragile and need to be handled with care? There are hopes and expectations from
you being crushed to hard that they can’t even breathe in that dust.
We want all, but we are never ready to give all. We just
demand but can never match the supply that we get. In our efforts of trying to
make a place and getting a reciprocal place we just keep on vanishing from the
picture that we want to paint. And then w hen you decide to leave things and
stay away, suddenly you realize that it never was your packet of life because
even letting go doesn’t back fires.
