rhythm divine

"Without music,life would be nothing." A line so perfectly said. Music, what can one say about it. It’s so much in itself. It can define your life like a straight simple line and it can also unleash the complicated thread of that hurting and troubled time. So many senses, so many definitions; all in one music.

Music is like a lover, who possesses your mind, body, heart and soul. Its touch can bewitch you and take you to the trance. In just a moment of seconds it can explore the whole of you. It can give the pain and the pleasure together. It is a virtual shoulder which can take your tears and leave your with noting but settlement and calmness.

Describing music is like describing a beauty which is spotless and tranquil. It is the glitter that shines in the eyes and pours from the heart. It is spiritual; an escape from the heavy duty of life. It’s a flowing river on whose bank you can sit for hours and stare into the unseen depths. It is free from malicious virtues of the universe.

People say music is rhythm but I would say it is the rhythm in which your whole experience can be relived and cherished for ages and decades and centuries. It’s a petal of rose which even on drying gives you the vivacious feel. Music is young because it’s always playful with the best of its mood at anytime weather day or night. It is the unexplained desire, dream, lust, pain, pleasure, sadness, argument, happiness, laughter and smile.

It’s like the first drop of rain in drought,

And the first wind that brings the monsoon clouds.

It’s the chirping of birds,

The sound of wind,

And the unexpressed emotions aloud.

It’s the light and the fire; it’s the burning flame of desire.

It’s in the wind chimes;

It’s in the bell of shrine.

It is friend of a lost soul,

Companion to the one who is all alone.

It’s the high note of your life,

It’s the best medium to describe the turning twisting fate of life.

It’s the hurt with no pain,

Instead it’s just a desire to be alone with even in vain.

It’s a feeling to bloom with,

And emotion to brood at.

It is the unborn life;

A still moment to think the itchiness inside.

It is very well said by Langston Hughes -

“Life is for the living.

Death is for the dead.

Let life be like music.

And death a note unsaid.”

As for Albert Einstein it was-

“If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music.”

And indeed it is well said. Music can take you through your past, make you experience your present and get u into your intriguing future. It can be your support and the biggest thing it will be with you through your lifetime whatever may be the situation and circumstances, without a single word of complaint and dismay.

In the end, I would just say the lines of Nicholas Sparks from ‘The Last Song’-

“Life, he realize, was much like a song. In the beginning there is mystery, in the end there is confirmation, but it's in the middle where all the emotion resides to make the whole thing worthwhile.”
