We are living in the 21^st century; the modernized people. Be it our thinking, lifestyle, our approach to the life and even our perceptions. These days’ people who are not open minded and not so liberal are termed as conservatives. People who have progressed ahead with the revolution of the human outlook are the modern people; they have accepted the change and tried to fit into it sometimes even by hook or crook. But my question is why? Why do they want to fit in when their whole soul and body is against the change? Why do they want to inject this in their system? Is it because they feel out caste in this new society which is so proficient to the revolution. Why to revolve around a thing which you can never get or understand.

The biggest example for this is the status of human. The most prominent change in the society has been that in the position of women. From being in the four walls to coming out of it and matching the steps of the man has been a tremendous twist of the society. Women are now more independent and have more freedom than ever. We have always been a patriarchal society and bringing in such a change has been a tedious task. Coming out and questioning the authority of the men who had been ruling without any accountability for so long is a great task and an indeed an outrageous one. But the end result of this was freedom. But has the men still accepted this defeat? Have they given up their power?

Well I am sure for some women it has been a bed of lilies or like walking in the moon and a power of not only imagination but also to fulfill and achieve that imagination. But there are still some for whom it is bed of thrones, who are forced to surrender to the supremacy of the illicit powers of men. But this would be a case where men is yet not able to accept the change and is revolting against it.

But what about the inherited dominance that the men always like to show off. It’s so difficult for them to give it up. A perfect example of this would be the man-woman relationship. Be it marriage or even a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship or even a brother-sister, why is it so that the male counterpart wants to dominate female. They know the emotional weakness of the female so well that they try to manipulate it to just feel the power of their manhood. If a person is attached to you and close to you and love you don’t mean that you need to control it according to your whims and wishes. Just showing that you know the best by playing the game of emotional conflict is just too dreadful. Treating them like a toy and playing with it as per your needs is no power. When it suits you their freedom is the best thing and when it goes against you it can’t even be tolerated.

When you can’t share at least don’t pretend to. Accept what you can fully get into your mind and heart. The change in society and modernization is good but we need to digest it because half digested change will never lead to our development and growth and prosperity.
